Coldplay was AWESOME!
The band sounded impeccable and the production was superb. The outdoor Superpages.com Center suits Jamie Lissow much better than at the indoor AAC. What a great show!
I managed to get about 5 people back directly in the middle of the pit. It was a little hot, but I think it was cooler last night than it's been in weeks. Great view, great scene.
A couple funny moments:
- Chris' guitar became unplugged or something while he was singing and dancing and a roadie tried (unsuccessfully) to plug it in during all of that and Chris seemed to get pretty pissed.
- LOTS of singing from the crowd
- Chris kept forgetting lines from some of their old songs
- LOTS of references to Texas and Dallas.
- I've never seen Superpages.com Center so packed. I had to park about 2 miles away in a lot I never knew existed.
